Dr. Boyd joined Valley Health Care in 2017. She has practiced medicine in the specialty of Pediatrics in Elkins since 1983 and was an Intern, Resident, and Instructor of Pediatrics at West Virginia University Hospital. She was honored to be named the West Virginia Pediatrician of the year in 2002 and received the Special Achievement Award from the American Academy of Pediatrics in 2003 and 2014.

Dr. Boyd is deeply invested in our community and serves in a number of health and human services organizations. She is a member of the Davis and Elkins Oratorio Society and of an international touring choir. She loves to swim, canoe, hike, snow ski, run, sing, and bicycle. In her spare time, she runs triathlon's, travels and reads.

Education
