MILL CREEK, WV – Valley Health Care (VHC) is excited to announce the addition of two highly skilled healthcare professionals, Jennifer Voorhees, DO, and Suzan Lewil, PMHNP-BC, ME-BC, RM-BC to their team.
Jennifer Voorhees is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician with a diverse background in both Western and Eastern medicine. She completed her residency at Shenandoah Valley Family Practice Residency-VCU and holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. Additionally, Voorhees has a Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin. She has also had experience owning and operating The Still Point Acupuncture in Gloversville, NY, and serving as aboard member for various community organizations.
Suzan Lewil is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a newly dual-certified Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. With over 13 years of experience in inpatient psychiatry. Her diverse background includes leadership roles such as Charge RN at Rockford Psychiatric Center and Nursing Director of Behavioral Health at HCA-Good Samaritan Hospital. Lewil received her Master of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University, and her two post-master’s certificates from La Salle University.
